Hi,
I am trying to plot a points picked up by a gps-device. I have my variable with latitude and longitude and this is the code i have written
>> output = ge_plot(ChipLatLong(:,2), ChipLatLong(:,1));
>> ge_output('ChipLatLong.kml',output);
Where ChipLatLong(:,2) are the longitudes and ChipLatLong(:,1) are the latitudes. The problem i have is that when I open the kml file is zoomes in to the correct area (all the points lie within a 10 meter radius), however it doesn't show any of the specific points. What am I doing wrong?

This is old but the answer is to use ge_point or ge_point_new:
Z=30; %Some arbitrarily selected height
output = ge_point(ChipLatLong(:,2), ChipLatLong(:,1),Z);
ge_output('ChipLatLong.kml',output);
