2d Wavelet transform of a 4x4 image

I would like to understand the discrete wavelet transform.

I have an example of a 4x4 image see below.

[8 4 6 2; 6 2 4 0;4 8 8 4;2 6 6 2;]

What would the J=1 level look like for the image above?

How do you compute this?
