Accuracy of the Local Restriction in the gas library

The simscape gas library local restriction accounts for choking condition as seen in its documentation while the documentation also mentions that the restriction doesnt model supersonic flow. Local Restriction Documentation
I have a requirement where the flow entering the orifice is subsonic, chokes at the restriction and is then supersonic as it exits. Can I use this block to model my requirement?
