Combining two excel files to a new file

I have 2 excel files. I want to combine them to a new excel file in such a way that 1st column of the first excel file and 1st column of the second excel file will be side by side. Similarly 2nd column of the first excel file and the 2nd column of the second excel file will be side by side and so on....
