what is the length of the speech samples for enhancement ?.

i want to enhance the speech samples. Weather i take lengthly (for ex.51200) or short (for ex.10000) for better enhancement.

I dont think there is any specific length is required prior to speech enhancement (Follow the same as reffered in good literature) I hope you are taliking about ramp length (tau), its depends on application sand what type of algo/filtering (local/global operation) use for enhancemnet.
