How to display axes handle as a plot in App Designer

Hello everyone,
I'm making a simple App which contains an Axes (app.Figure). I need to use a built-in function (rnaplot) to generate a plot (f). How to display this plot in the Axes? I tried `app.Figure = f`. It does not work.

dna = app.DNA.Value;
dna = upper(dna);
struc = rnafold(dna, 'nogu', 1);
f = rnaplot(struc, 'sequence', dna, 'format', 'diagram');
app.Figure = f;
