Can you "black box" a library?

2 次查看(过去 30 天)
I am creating a library block for a customer which will be put into their sim. Is there a way to "black box" my block so that they only see the inputs and outputs? I am currently using 2015b, but 2018b is also an option.

Instead of library, you can provide a Protected Models for Model Reference

I have a couple questions about protected models.
1) Can you put a protected model into another model?
2) Can you create a protected model if the inputs to a subsystem are not connected to anything?

1) Yes.
2) Yes. The effect is as if there is no input.

Hello,
I am working on Equivalent Circuit Modeling for estimating the battery parametrs. I read in MAthworks documentation that the model can be Blackboxed for sharing with certain customers so that they can modeify it accourding o the application for which they are using the battery without knowing the internal parameters. I read that once the model is created we need to generate the code and than we have to create a new simulink block based on the generated code.
Can you please elaborate on how exactly do we need to blackbox the model based on the generated code ?
Your answers will be very helpful and appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
