every time i start matlab r2018b and run a script i got the message "Octave functions should not run on Matlab, Removing path" and the script fails

i don't think so. I installed, setup path folder and that was all my config

What does 'a script' contain?

pffff, i have a lot of scripts. They are all different and as far as I tried now, all of them gives this warning. There is also a lot of custom functions. I usually use, DL, Wavelet, Parallel, SP, PDE SandML, toolboxes.

If the above works for you, then you can later use pathtool to add on any additional paths you need ... after first checking that they have no startup.m file.
