how can I change the active child subsystem in a Variant subsystem during simulation run time ?

My goal is to change the active child subsystem in a variant subsystem during simulation at a specific time step.

I tried to do it by changing the Variant control value in the base workspace and then using this command :

set_param(model name, 'SimulationCommand' , 'Update');

This step changed the Variant control value but did not change the active child subsystem and therefore did not solve my problem.

Hi Jonathan,

The active child subsystem cannot be changed at simulation time. For that, you'll have to use switches.
