Check if built-in functions have been edited and return to defaults

I'm worried that I've accidentally edited the script for a built-in function. I'm trying to use the pentropy function from the Signals Processing package and the error I'm getting makes no sense. I tried entering the basic example listed on the MATLAB documentation page and now that's giving me the same error.
>> xn = randn(1000,1);
>> fs = 10;
>> ts = 1/fs;
>> t = 0.1:ts:100;
>> tdur = seconds(t);
>> xt = timetable(tdur',xn);
>> pentropy(xt)
Error using pentropy (line 151)
Error: File: rms.m Line: 2 Column: 14
Invalid use of operator.
How can I check if pentropy has been edited and how can I return it to the defaults?

Use the telephone handset Contact Us icon in the upper right corner of this page to ask MathWorks.

You could also consider the nuclear option: reinstall Matlab. But I would first try the support.
