Hi,
I have got daily stock price data for different companies that is saved in different cells in a cell array.
one cell for each company.Now some companies have started operations and trading from let suppose 15 july 1990 some from 20 Aprill 1993 so on and so forth.
I am calculating monthly returns using the daily return data.I want to extract daily reurns of entire month.How can I do this.Do we have any function in matlab using which we can extract daily data of entire month? I know about the retime function but that function just let us calculate sum, avg and product of daily values of a particular month but it wont let me extract the values as it is without performing any summ or product .
