What is the s_rot() function ?

1 次查看(过去 30 天)
I came across this code in a textbook (Multibody Dynamics, Nikravesh P.E.) -
% Example 2.3
% Define vectors a and b
a = [2 3]'; b = [4 5]';
% Compute the magnitude of the cross producsts a x b and b x a
c = s_rot(a)'*b
d = s_rot(b)'*a
I could not find any documentation about this function which is very strange!

That is not part of base MATLAB or any MathWorks toolbox, as far as I could find. Googling on
"s_rot" matlab
found a few hits (including the book you mention). Maybe they define that function earlier on the book, or in an appendix, or they have a github repository of code?

Oh right, it is just a function they have defined. How stupid of me!
I'm not used to using others' codes (I'm just starting out :)
Thanks for your answer!
