shadowed file constructor file conflict

I have a Guide .fig and .m file: ts_ClusConj_analysis.fig, ts_ClusConj_analysis.m
I also manually created a new mlapp to continue development of the program based on the older Guide files. tThis new file is ts_ClusConj_analysis.mlapp
But I could not run the original fig/.m file as matlab wanted to run the mlapp file with the same name.
So using windows file explorer I renamed ts_ClusConj_analysis.mlapp to clusConj_analysis.mlapp
I still could not run the original ts_ClusConj_analysis.m file.
So I deleted the now renamed clusConj_analysis.mlapp file.
Now I still cannot run the ts_ClusConj_analysis.m file getting the message
>> ts_ClusConj_analysis
Error using ts_ClusConj_analysis
Previously accessible file "C:\Users\bluma\OneDrive\Documents\Matlab\work\ts_ClusConj_analysis.mlapp" is now inaccessible.
when I run
>> which ts_ClusConj_analysis -all
I get the message
Not on MATLAB path % ts_ClusConj_analysis constructor
C:\Users\bluma\OneDrive\Documents\Matlab\work\ts_ClusConj_analysis.m % Shadowed
How do I resolve the constructor and shadowed file issue?

Quit MATLAB and re-enter it.
