How to read an plot with coordinates a .tiff file?

I'm currently using this code:
[X,map]= imread('Z1.tiff');
image(X);
colormap(map);
This is the file im trying to read: http://www.mediafire.com/view/dzifgp0s3ima3z2/Z1.tiff/file
And this is the plot im trying to obtain:

Any idea why my code is not working?

mapshow(X(:,:,1:3), R)
%touch up the labeling
ax = gca;
ax.XAxis.Exponent = 0;
