making a multiple choice test with pictures that disappear using the compiler???

I am trying to use matlab to compile an exe or other program or code that can do the following
  1. display an image for 10 seconds
  2. ask multiple choice question about said image
  3. store answer and move to next question/picture
  4. contunue until all 20 pictures are gone
is this possible or should I use another alternative?

Of course. In short
See the FAQ: How_can_I_process_a_sequence_of_files?
Then in the loop
imshow(filename)
pause(10) % Display it for 10 seconds before asking a question about it.
selected(k) = listdlg(........
