Finding out band number for chlorophyll on matlab

Hello. I have downloaded files a particular area of ocean and computed chlorophyll content in those files on SNAP. I need to know how to find out the band number for chlorophyll and also how to extract particular bands on matlab. Please write me the code and explain me the procedure as i am unable to find answers
