how to save a function or vector defined by a given plot

i ve plotted a graph using plot function, now i want this plot to be saved in a vector so that i can use it later on by combining it.

Use the savefig (or saveas) functions to save it as a .fig file. Everything about it, including the data used to create it, will be saved in the file. Gertting the information back from the file is not always straightforward, however it can be done with a few lines of code.
