so lets say I have a 3D surf plot with three different surface objects s1, s2, s3

is it possible to use rotate function to rotate all the three objects at the same time , instead of calling the function three times.

rotate accepts an array of the surface handles. Try this

hold on
view(3)
s1 = surf(peaks(20));
s2 = surf(rand(20));
rotate([s1 s2], [1 0 0], 30);
