We discussed this before: you can use a gridding algorithm, or you can find the centroids of the clusters. There is no way to get that information from the scatterplot itself.

for the following code
M = 16; % Alphabet size
x = randint(1000,1,M); % Random message
y = dpskmod(x,M); % Modulate.
scatterplot(y)
gives a 16 point graph but length(y) is 1000.
Is there any way i can make the code give me only those 16 points that are on the graph.
