Programatically change DTDocumentBar position

2 次查看(过去 30 天)
Within the Figures container (and the editor also), the list of open figures (or documents) could be positioned using the context menu, changing the bar position. Within an deployed application, I need to perform this task programatically.
How is it possible, starting from the figures container
com.mathworks.mde.desk.MLDesktop.getInstance.getGroupContainer('Figures')
or any other starting point, to either
  • extract the context menu und manually find the associated (position left) callback, or
  • directly get access to the positioning command via something like
Something.DTDocumentBar.setPosition(LEFT)
Thanks for any answer.

Meanwhile I got help on this topic.
When being in contact with matlab support on another issue, the kind person there helped me. The solution is:
com.mathworks.mde.desk.MLDesktop.getInstance.setDocumentBarPosition('Figures',7)
Thanks matlab support.

Hello Thierry,
thanks for the reply. I completely forgot my question here.
The link you provided was actually a blog-post by myself. From there, the question comes.
