what value i can give to nsdec so i can run this program ?

so i have this program but i can't run it bcz i don't have the value of nsdec

trls=poly2trellis(3,[5 7]);
len=1000;
msg=randint(len,1);
cod =convenc(msg,trls);
tcode=-2*cod+1;
ncode=awgn(tcode,8,'measured',1234);
decoded=vitdec(ncode,trls,3,'cont','hard');
decoded = vitdec(ncode,trls,3,'cont','soft',7);
[number,ratio]=biterr(decoded(3+1:end),msg(1:end-3));
Ps: im using matlab 2009 and im wondering if it's the reason
