Hi everyone,
When I try to install rtwintgt, this occurs:
================================================
You are going to install the Real-Time Windows Target kernel. Do you want to proceed? [y] : y The Real-Time Windows Target kernel has been successfully installed.
>> rtwho Real-Time Windows Target installation is not complete. Please type 'rtwintgt -setup' to complete the installation. Type 'help rtwintgt' for more information.

Can anyone shed some light as to how I can get the setup working properly??
I'm running MATLAB r2012b with Real-Time Windows Target 4.1 included on Windows 8 64-bit.

Do you start MATLAB as Administrator when you run "rtwintgt -setup"? If not, please try that and see if it fixes the issue.

This is a known problem with R2012b and Windows 8. This is caused by a late change in Windows 8 that prevents correct initialization of the real-time kernel. Unfortunately we haven't been able to fix it for the R2012b release.
Please try R2013a Prerelease, the problem should be fixed there.

I just found out that the problem was with the virtualization features of the cpu. Disabling VT-d at the BIOS solved the problem. Cheers

After Windows 10 updated to version 1803 I was getting BSOD crashes whenever I used SLDRT. Even running
sldrtkernel -setup
would cause a BSOD. After reading the above I finally tried disabling VT-d in the BIOS and no more BSOD crashes.
BSOD crashes occurred with R2017b, R2018 Prerelease and R2018b. I've only tested the BIOS "fix" with R2018b.
