how to use timer callback and addlistener?

Is it not possible to use timer callback and addlistener simultaneously? The timer function is not getting executed. Also I am not able to pass arguments to the addlistener callback function.In doing so the following error comes: 'One or moire output arguments not assigned during call ton '_feval' error in daq.session/addlistener(line125) Can anyone please give an example?
