Communicate beagleboard xm with serial port by using simulink

Hi;
I need to make necessary configuration on my beagleboard xm for communication from serial port. I could not find suitable block and serial port object could not work into beagleboard. Is there any possibility configure my serial port by using matlab

Thanks for asking, Mr. Irmak. The documentation contains the following topics related to connecting to the Linux command line on the the BeagleBoard xM over a serial port connection:
The BeagleBoard System Reference Manual contains information for troubleshooting USB/serial port settings. I recommend searching for "serial" from the last page going up.

Thank you for your interest and answer Mr. Hegwer. I already made this connection between beagleboard and my host pc. However, I need to communicate my beagleboard with another instrument. Therefore, somehow I need to specify serial port protocol in my model or .m file. I could not put serial port blocks or serial object into beagleboard. I wonder if there is a way to do this. Thank you.
