Is there a maximum value that for a MATLAB GUI slider?

Is there a maximum value that for a MATLAB GUI slider? I entered 1000 as the max and it gave me an error. Or the error is actually coming from other places not the slider.

No, 1000 should be fine. What is your error? I do know that the value must be between the max and the min or else the slider won't show up (it will be invisible/hidden).
