assemble two matrix into big matrix

How can I assemble
K1=[2 -1 -1 0;-1 2 0 -1;-1 0 2 -1;0 -1 -1 2] and
K2=[2 -1 -1 0;-1 2 0 -1;-1 0 2 -1;0 -1 -1 2] to
K_e= [2 -1 0 -1 0 0;-1 4 -1 0 -2 0; 0 -1 2 0 0 -1; -1 0 0 2 -1 0;0 -2 0 -1 4 -1 ; 0 0 -1 0 -1 2] ???
K1 is a matrix of a square element and K2 is the same. These two elements are common in two nodes. 4 is formed in the nodes that are common. The k_e matrix must be obtained by assembling of the K1 and K2
