matlab problem with mex -setup ?

Hi please can somehelp me with issue
i have matlab 2012a , windows 8 and i installed Microsoft visual C++ studio 2012 pro.
i am trying to run mex , i get the following error :
>> mex
No supported SDK or compiler was found on this computer. For a list of supported compilers, see http://www.mathworks.com/support/compilers/R2012a/win64.html
Error using mex (line 206) Unable to complete successfully.

If you read the link, you will see that VS2012 is not supported for MATLAB R2012a.
If you try to go back to VS2010 then you need to read http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/newsreader/view_thread/322822
