how to call an script file in another file???

actually i have an script file... i want it to be called in another file..but error is appearing...so what i shd..i mean how i shd make it a function..so that i cd call it

It has to be on the search path, and you have to call it with an allowable number of input and output arguments. What is the error?
By the way, Firefox has a built-in spell checker that could help you make your posts easier to read.
