Lead screw and spring WITH Simscape Driveline Toolbox

Hello,
I'm editing the post as I've got a Simscape driveline license.
I'm trying, right now, to simulate a Lead Screw block with a Spring in parallel.
The spring is aiming to push the nut in the opposite direction of the Axial Effort or in the same direction if the nut is going from the port N to the port S.
Currently, I don't get any torque on the S port of the Lead Screw block even though I have a force on N port.
I've a lot of sensor and I'm not sure whether all are needed, as well as the Inertia block.
Somebody could explain how can I get a torque on the rotational side of the Lead Screw block (S port)?
Thanks a lot.

Hello Cyril
The problem is that the speed sensor is coupled in series with the shaft, thus leaving the inertia isolated and the shaft open.
Try connecting port C in the sensor to a rotational reference.

Hi Cyril,
In Simscape you have two types of physical variables: across (measured in parallel: speed, pressure, temperature...) and then through (measured in series: torque, flow, heat...). So you need to be careful when using sensors.
the way you use the screw is unusual, normally you have a driving torque on the shaft (S) and then the desired motion is the translation on the other side. With a bit of patience you'll get this right.
