Is there an easy way to find the radius of curvature of a series of points?

Is there an easy way to find the radius of curvature of a series of points? I can fit a spline (7th order most likely) to the curve if I have to, but id really rather not.
Failing that, are there any ways of describing a curve, or curve metrics, without accurately knowing the endpoint? (hence using the radius of curvature)
