loadlibrary fails in matlab 2012 (dll loads in matlab 2010)

hi, i have a dll (compiled with VS2005) that was loaded and used just fine when run from matlab 2007 and 2010, but if running from matlab 2012, loadlibrary fails. i'm receiving an arror "... #error : "eh.h is only for C++!". i really dont want to (and not really can) make changes in the code of the dll. is there any other solution? (i need to supply a customer with this dll and can't expect them to use old matlab version..) thanks h
