how to find C metric and diversity metric in statistical performance of two optimization techiques

After getting the optimal value with the proposed method using optimization technique, it has to compare with other existing methods which requires metric concept. How to find metric. They are many metric to find statistical performance. Convergence and diversity metric i need, can any body suggest me how to find convergence and diveristy metric, or any latest better metric please suggest and related steps to follow.
