Can I control create interface to save pictures from Xenics Software ?

I am working on the characterization of the Optical Phased Arrays. My input is angle that I am giving using Matlab, and the output is the resulting image of the light captured by Xenics Camera and displaying in Xenics Software. For each angle, I hava to save the corresponding image from Xenics Software manually which is quite a troublesome. Is there any way by which I can communicate with Xenics Software using Matlab which automatically captured the image for every steering angle.

It is my understanding that you wanted communicate with Xenics Software using matlab. You can connect Xenics Camera to Matlab. For better understanding, look at the following documentation.

I would like to have the following information from you
  • What adaptor are you using with Image Acquisition Toolbox?
  • How are you currently passing angle input from MATLAB to camera?
  • Is angle a device property? If yes, is it exposed to use a videosource property?
  • Why do you want to use Xenics Software to capture and save image, instead of recording directly into matlab using videoinput?
