You can pass an array to the "pie" function, where each element corresponds to the pie chart pieces. A value of 1 would mean the piece will be separated from the centre, while 0 would mean it will not.

% Labels for the pie chart
labels = {'A', 'B', 'C', 'D'};
% Create a pie chart with separated pieces
