Eliminating outliers by Winsorization in R2013a Version

Hi Guys,

I hope you can help me out here.

My version of Matlab does not have the function to Winsorize, so I was wondering if you had any suggestions.

I am looking to work with 98th percentile to winsorize the highest extreme values and 6th percentile to winsorize the most extreme values in the bottom of the pack.

I have worked with the function prctile to find what values would constitute these percentiles. The question is though, how do I identify those values that are in violation of these percentiles and convert them to the percentile value? Any suggestions?
