Found it. This is a sliver of a question carried over from the original poster's other thread,

and thus the interpretation is probably how to write the same program in Excel.

Most of the operations that could be used to solve the original problem in Matlab could also be used in Excel, but it has been too long since I looked at Excel for me to be able to readily toss out a Macro that included removing the entries that do not match. (The actual computation part is easy peasy.)

The proper question is in that link and that is how i am given the question. I don't understand what the question means and I haven't been taught on how to use macros (even though I know how to use it) so I don't think I have to create a macro
