Example:

 Input  x = [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9] 
 Output y = [9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1]

As far as timing goes ...

x=rand(100,1);
tic;y=flipud(x);toc
Elapsed time is 0.068947 seconds.
tic;y=x(end:-1:1);toc
Elapsed time is 0.000026 seconds.

I'm not understanding why sort(x, 'descend') is not correct. On matlab works.
