The Given 20 line function allows you to shade around a line so that you can plot complicated functions with their Standard errors or confidence intervals. This is important since any white space not shaded is "not occupied" by any data rather hinting at significance.

This can be used to display any function. Its very similar to errorbar but just slightly more powerful.
