A novel meta-heuristic algorithm, Egret Swarm Optimization Algorithm (ESOA), which is inspired by two egret species’ (Great Egret and Snowy Egret) hunting behavior. ESOA consists of three primary components: Sit-And-Wait Strategy, Aggressive Strategy as well as Discriminant Conditions.
