The values of positive sequence and zero sequence resistance, inductance, capacitance, and transmission line length are calculated and tabulated in Table 2 using a (appropriate) base MVA of 100 MVA (Sb) and a base kV of 230 kV (Vb) using basic per unit principles of impedance calculation. The length of the transmission line from bus-1 to bus-2 is calculated as follows.
