,a, b, n, m , β, kare angular frequency, permittivity of free space, Width of the waveguide (m), Height of the waveguide (m),mode index in x-direction, mode index in y-direction, propagation constant (1/m), and wave number.
The wavenumber k and β is defined as follows.
