综合能源系统是目前能源领域的重点研究方向之一，构建多能互补、协同优化综合能源系统，是促进能源系统改革的重要举措，是支撑双碳目标的坚实基础。本课程首先明确能源系统与环境系统的基本关系，解析能源系统运行对于地球碳循环的重要性；接着分析比较各种能源类型、介绍煤炭、石油、天然气、核能、水力、太阳能以及风能等能源形式的本质和运行特点；最后给出电力网、燃气网以及热力网的基本建模，进而构建综合能源系统的基本模型，探究综合能源系统优化运行的仿真方法。
本课程利用 MATLAB 的实时脚本，对课程中的概念结合数据进行直观展示；利用实时脚本中的控件功能，提供交互式的数学模型仿真演示，降低数学模型理解难度；脚本的单元化执行，令综合能源系统优化运行模型更易于上手与理解。
