This MATLAB code performs a load flow analysis for the IEEE 118 bus system using the Newton-Raphson method. The Newton-Raphson method, known for its robustness and accuracy, iteratively solves the power flow equations to determine the voltage magnitude and angle at each bus. The IEEE 118 bus system, a standard benchmark in power system studies, provides a realistic and complex network to test and validate the algorithm. The code includes detailed data preparation for the bus admittance matrix, initialization of variables, iterative solution process, and convergence checking.The data used in this load flow is descriped in my Ph.D Thesis and is available in the appendix of my Ph.D Thesis
