H5DUMP: dumps metadata to the screen
H5VARGET: reads hdf5 datasets
H5VARPUT: writes data to hdf5 datasets
H5ATTGET: reads hdf5 attributes
H5ATTPUT: writes hdf5 attributes
H5FILECREATE: create hdf5 file
H5DATACREATE: create hdf5 dataset
