This example assumes a simple setup where a transmitter (Tx) communicates with a receiver (Rx) in the presence of an RIS. The RIS helps enhance the communication by intelligently reflecting the signals. For simplicity, let's assume a 2D model and that we can adjust the phase shifts of the RIS elements to improve signal reception.
