Description :-
In this program, the Courant-Friedrich-Levy factor (or Courant Factor) is deliberately pushed Greater than 1 for an exponentially increasing unstable solution. It should be noted that for 1D FDTD, the magic FDTD timestep corresponds to Courant Factor of 1. Courant Factors Greater than 1, are inherently unstable. If you find instability in your program you should now know that you have a Courant violation with Courant Factor greater than 1.
