By default, the System Design Description report in Simulink Report Generator can navigate through a hierarchy of model references. However, the model information from these referenced models are included in the SDD report for the top level model. This does not mimic the independence of the referenced models themselves and for large models can create very large SDD reports that are sometimes problematic.
This customized SDD file recurses a model reference hierarchy and generates a separate report for each model reference. Links to the SDD report for each model reference are included in the model reference section of the higher-level model's SDD report.
This function has the option to regenerate all reports for a model hierarchy, regenerate only changed reports (based on timestamps), or regenerate only the model that is open.
