Jitter is any light deviation from mean period of a presumed periodic signal.
There are many physical examples where jitter is relevant (sinaptic and electromiographic signals, clocks for electronic devices, random number generators, etc).
In the case of a binary source (as a clock for electronic devices or random number generator), determining the level of jitter is critical to define the system performance.
This code simulates the result of sampling a periodic binary source with gaussian jitter.
Code is very simple and it is also commented.
