Export your variables to your documents, so that if the script changes, the variables update accordingly. It's as simple as
MATLAB: `datax('data.tex', 'c', '3e8', '\meter\per\second')` followed by LaTeX: `\( c = \datax{c} \)`.

This is a language plugin for the [Datax LaTeX package [ctan]](https://ctan.org/pkg/datax).
