This Matlab app was developed for Hill48 potential optimization from experimental anisotropic properties. The user can type-in the experimental anisotropic yield stress ratio (R) in the respective box of the GUI together with model exponent. Then request to 'Optimize' in the GUI and wait for the computation to complete which takes about few seconds. The output is 6 potential for Hill48 for Abaqus model input which will be displayed in Matlab command window.

Sufficient to calibrate with simple tensile tests at 0, 45 and 90 degree material orientation. Yield stress ratio (R) can be characterized simply form stress-strain curve.
